What is Satsang?
Satsang means being in the company of truth — a gathering where everyone sits as equals, with no distinction of rank or background, supporting one another on the spiritual path.
It is a space to share, question, and deepen one's own devotion alongside others doing the same — not a lecture to receive, but a community to belong to.
Why This Satsang
The fundamental reason behind many of the catastrophes occurring today, as well as those that may arise in the future, and the significant changes in human behaviour, is, perhaps, the decline of Bhakthi (devotion) among human beings. This decline is believed to contribute to the growing negativity and diminishing positivity in the world.
To overcome these challenges, Bhakthi Sadhana, or the practice of devotion, is of great importance. It can help promote physical well-being, mental stability, and emotional balance. More importantly, Bhakthi Sadhana plays a vital role in attaining Atma Shanti (inner peace), Mukthi (liberation), and Moksha (spiritual emancipation).
This Satsang aims to explore the meaning of Bhakthi, how one can cultivate and deepen devotion, and how one can realise Ishwara (the Divine).
Bhakthi is one of the most effective spiritual paths to overcome the inner turmoil that gives rise to negative thoughts and emotions. These inner disturbances can weigh down both the mind and the body, leaving an individual feeling helpless, drained, and emotionally paralysed. Through sincere devotion, one can gradually transcend these agitations, rise above the miseries of life, and move towards a state of inner peace, harmony, and spiritual fulfilment.
Ultimately, Bhakthi Sadhana is not merely a religious practice; it is a journey of transforming oneself from within, cultivating positivity, and progressing towards the realisation of the Ishwara.
